Everything item sold by UnderWaterVisions Ltd is sold subject to the Sale of Goods Act (1979) and the Trade Descriptions Act (1968).
Payments
All prices quoted on our website are inclusive of 17.5% VAT.
Please contact us to order items, we may be able to offer package discounts too.
Please note - as we are involved in international trade, our prices are very much dependent on international exchange rates. We therefore will actively alter prices to reflect current market conditions every two months. This may mean that our prices may increase slightly but equally this may mean that our prices will decrease slightly. Any quotation we give will be valid for 30 days, and if the price has been reduced in the meantime, we will pass this saving on to you.
We require a non-refundable 10% deposit for all orders.
We can currently accept payment through bank transfer, cash, and cheque. We can also accept payment through Paypal directly or credit card (again through Paypal) but this will incur an extra charge of 2.5%. This will be factored into any quotation for you.
If you require items to be shipped, we will charge the special delivery next day delivery fees in force at the time of purchase.
Warranty
a. All items sold by UnderWaterVisions Ltd. are warranted against any material and manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase for consumer use.
b. Any claims must be accompanied by a proof of purchase.
c. UnderWaterVisions Ltd. accepts no liability for any damage to and defects in any supplied products caused by improper use and/or poor maintenance. It is equally the responsibility of the owner to carefully follow all instruction provided in product manuals.
d. UnderWaterVisions Ltd. do not hold responsibility for damage, of any nature, to any equipment use with and/or placed within any supplied products.
e. UnderWaterVisions Ltd. accept no liability for any loss of captured images or the inability to capture images even if it is due to the malfunctioning or leakage of supplied products.
f. Unauthorised modifications and/or repairs to any supplied products will automatically invalidate warranty.
g. Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Non - Fault Returns
Non-Fault returns will be dealt with on a case-to-case basis and must be declared within seven days of purchase. Please contact us immediately if you wish to negotiate a no fault return. We reserve the right to refuse no fault refunds on housing bodies although we will consider each case individually. No fault returns can only be fully refunded if the items are returned unused, undamaged and complete as purchased.
Servicing
The importance of regular servicing cannot be understated as it will not only prolong the life of your valuable investment, it will also give you the peace of mind to fully enjoy your underwater photography. Even when a housing is not being used, essential components will be slowly deteriorating so we recommend that you carry out a maintenance service every 12 months depending on your usage. Our engineers here can carry out a full service for you including replacing every o-ring, removing, inspecting and polishing every control bar, cleaning and maintaining connectors, and hydrostatic testing. All servicing work is guaranteed for 12 months. Please contact us for costs.
